When you can't Uninstall?
 

I am trying to uninstall fixcleaner on my pc and nothing works. When I go to control panel and try to uninstall it nothing happens. Does anyone know what I should do?

Does the program it's self have an uninstall?

No I don't believe so. I am thinking it is a virus tho. I have had trouble with my pc since I installed it.

Is it one of those programs that wants you to pay a fee to clean up your computer? If so maybe "refresh" your computer back to one day before you installed the "fixclean" program. My brother keeps installing these programs and they keep messing up his computer and he is forever refreshsing his computer back to when he first bought it. You would think he would remember what he is doing but he is 80 and he forgets.

Had a so called computer 'expert' install this on my computer (without my permission) I had to do a system restore. Good luck.

Go to there website and see if there is an uninstall procedure if not delete it off of your program files if it doesn't allow you to do it in the Control Panel under add/remove hardware/software. Only problem if you just delete the program it won't remove anything it wrote to your registry or system and you may get a bunch of error msgs. I don't know if that helps you any, but I hope you can get rid of it.

I did do a system restore and that seemed to help some of my computer issues. I was getting error msgs and after downloading the newest (updated malyware) my pc is running normal again. I was able to uninstall the program too. I did have a trogan virus. Thanks for all the help.
