Many many years ago, I would "cross-stitch" on straw welcome mats.
I had patterns for a pumpkin, reindeer and a few others. You would use strips of fabric to "cross-stitch" on the straw mat. I would like to make these again, but haven't had any luck in finding the pattern book.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I have done those. I got my patterns from a cross stitch magazine. It uses lots of fabric.
