LOL!!

I'm sure just looking at it is exactly what my kitties would do if they ever saw a mouse!

I'm not sure i understand your problem. The cats cornered the prey and then left the kill to the alpha cat...you.
my cats bring me half a bunny or a screaming bunny. Can't say which is worst!

Cats have to be taught to hunt by their momma cat.

My cat would have jumped on my head to get it, grabbed it and jumped back on my head to get away to make sure I wouldn't get her mouse!

Congrats on wacking your own mouse. Brave!

Oh that is so funny. At least your cats remained awake. Our cat, "Perky", slept while a little ole mouse ran right by his nose. My husband remarked, we're feeding him why...?

I had to look at your picture again, I think it is so darn cute, although I think all of God's creatures are cute and mice are one of the cutest. I hesitated getting my barn cats for a long, long time because my cats are like my dogs, I think they need to be accounted for all the time and not left to roam. But after constantly finding little mice who drowned in my horses water buckets I decided the cats would be the more humane thing to do, what they don't catch is fine, I think their presence scars the other mice away.

I had two weapons to choose from, a plastic fly swatter and a plastic 12 inch ruller. I chose the ruler and whacked it. It fell to the floor behind the toilet and Bootsie looked at me as if I had destroyed her favorite toy. My cats do not see mice as food. I'm in trouble here. I keep two cats to keep mice out of my fabric.

We have a rat terrier who takes care of mice in a flash. They come in size small these days too. His name is Tuffy and weighs all of 12 pounds. Your cats are quite a pair - really cute!
