Why do so many QB members put "In hiding" for their locations? It would be nice to be able to recognize if they lived in your area.

Some people just don't want you to know where they live and others I think have never discovered how to put the location in.

Some of them also participate in secret swaps and don't want the recipients to know where they live. I can't even remember if mine has my hometown on it or not.... We're so far out in the boonies no one would probably ever find us anyway!

It's a personal preference of mine and since the quiltingboard.com folks don't require it, it's fine by me.

For personal safety, swaps, don't know how to change it, don't realize it can be changed, and more :D:D:D

i agree with you, espicially if we're visiting in an area and want to try to meet up people
