Michael Jackson :( I will never stop missing him.

candlequilter 02-12-2011 08:42 PM

Rue McClallahan, Estelle Gettie and Bea Arthur (3 of the 4 golden girls) It is hard to believe how active Betty White still is (the 4th golden girl).

Patrick Swayze and all of the others that were mentioned above as well.

Thanks,
Sherryl

My MIL used to call her Mush Mouth, LOL - cuz at times she was hard to understand. Cracked me up when she used to say that.

I considered them my role models and still do - lol. I just started watching Sex in the City a few months ago and realized they are just a modern day bunch of the Golden Girls.

Gotta agree with that...he was a stellar personality. He was the man. The ones that die from drug overdoses don't get my sympathy anymore. Too many of them out there now and they just don't care, because they think they are infallible. I just feel sorry for the ones they leave behind.

Loved the Golden Girls.

Kitsapquilter 02-13-2011 03:33 AM

I miss all those oldies that were in good western movies like John Wayne, Alan Ladd, Roy Rogers, James Stewart just to name a few.

Beth33 02-13-2011 03:38 AM

I wish John Lennon and George Harrison were still alive so that The Beatles could record together again.

dakotamaid 02-13-2011 04:46 AM

The Golden Girls, Betty White is the only one left. I watch all the reruns late at night when I can't sleep.

sueisallaboutquilts 02-13-2011 05:16 AM

We watched Ghost the other night and it blows me away to think that wonderful Patrick Swayze is no longer with us.
The way I look at this topic is this: Everyone is put on earth for a reason (imo) and we all enrich each others lives in some way.
Celebrities of every genre have the advantage of reaching more of us b/c of the media of course.
My list of people I miss is long but I'm glad they were all here for the time they were :)
