Where are you that you get Netflix streaming for only $5? We just signed up about 3 months ago and it was $8mo.

Will have to check out Hulu, Pandora etc., pretty clueless right now.

For the $8.00 a month, you can get one movie at a time and all the free streaming you want. I did that for a while and would watch the movie and get it back into the mail asap, and that way I could get another one by the weekend, all for the same prive.

DD bought one for me and DH who could never work the VCR had it hooked up and going in a matter of minutes. For those that don't know Roku is a device that connects to your tv and you can steam tv shows, movies, and music to your tv from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and others. I'm watching the mini series Pillars of the Earth and it's fantastic. I can watch PBS masterpiece mini series that I have missed. It's inexpensive to buy and Neflix unlimited streaming is $5 a month. Check it out, it's better then cable for me. http://www.roku.com/

The language is swearing.

Doesn't replace rabbit ears. It makes it so that what you can watch on the computer (crackle.com, hulu.com, etc) you can see on the TV screen instead. More homey to sit on the couch and watch TV streaming from the internet than at the desk with the computer. Make sense?

Don't hesitate to ask. You don't know until, well, until you know! :)

I don't have one 'cause my hubby is very techy and rigged up something like it with wires. Now all of the TVs can play the same movie or something streaming from online. We cancelled our cable service years ago. Oh and we're surrounded by hills so we don't get any reception naturally.

I wan't all correct on the Netflix cost. DH informed me the $5 Netflix charge is the cost of his account. It's for watching on computer anytime unlimited. The cost we pay for watching unlimited on the tv is $8 a month. I have Amazon Prime I pay yearly, Hulu is about $8 but I'm dropping it, it has commercials in the tv shows. I won't pay to watch commercials.

If you drop Cable, do you still get the regular channels - ABC, CBS, NBC?
