Well, I dug cuz I don't have a recent photo ...this is about 6 years old....it was my DGD's first birthday! LOL And my DD snapped this one of the two of us together. Like I said before...I am usually the one BEHIND the lens! LOL But I swear...I haven't changed much at all.....still dye my hair (usually its much blonder than in this pic) still wear glasses (they got a little thicker this last visit to the eye doctor...if you can imagine that!!) and I still have all my teeth! and ...I've only gained ten pounds! LOL

OH...and that is my Monte Carlo (mid-life crisis) in the background!

Here I am with the three grands I spoke of in chat today, all of us squinting in the rare sunshine of a Labor Day Weekend in SW Washington....LOL

Wow Amma...quite the "brood"...you don't even look old enuf for that many grands!!! Nice looking kids and a great picture!!!

patrice....I agree with Ruth....I did not picture you so slim trim young and gorgeous! I figured with all that knowledge about quilting there would have been lots of gray hair like my Mother in law (she taught me how to quilt)!!! Anybody that knows that much must be old in my mind I guess! LOL

This is a great thread...nice to get to know all of you!!!

I live in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and have sewn clothes and quilts for over 20 years. I never took pics of them, but have learned to do so now. I will be adding the quilt pics soon that I am working on now. Since I have gotten my strength back (Just finished chemo and radiation for breast cancer)
I have started quilting again. The avatar is the quilt I made last year for my daughter. I owe my daughter in law, and both grandchildren this year, so I have to get busy. I am hand quilting one now for my MIL. great being part of this wonderful group!!!

My husband, Terry and I last year when we got married.
