Today is my day to sleep in. I have to work overnight tonight, just like every other week. I stayed up a little later last night so I could sleep in this morning. But apparently, my body decided to wake up at 6am. Here's hoping I can nap later!

I hope you can nap later also. I used to work 3rd shift for years. Its not easy.

I had to get up at 5:30a.m. for 30 yrs when I was teaching. I still wake up at 5:30a.m. even though I retired in 1996.

the sad part is that if I actually needed to be awake this early, it would be a struggle for me to get out of bed and I would be dragging all day long.

Ain't that the truth.
