Why Babies Have Mothers (Funny)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5TzUb2jHUc

I've watched it several times and am still howling! :D :D :D

What's even funnier is that this video is so ME! There's an ongoing joke in my family where everybody teases me about my inability to handle stuff like this, but my sister works in a day care center, and she has a rock solid stomach. Nothing fazes her. LOL! :D

Hope you got a giggle this morning! :)

willferg 02-25-2014 07:55 AM

That was funny. That stuff doesn't faze me, either.

I've laughed so hard that my sides hurt! Thanks for posting this.

That really was funny and relevant to so many of us!

It reminded me of the time my young husband was asleep on his back on the sofa with his (our) new-ish baby girl asleep au naturel on his tummy, his mug of half-empty lemonade on the floor beside him.

Just as I walked by I noticed that she had just begun to pee on him in her sleep!!

I picked up the mug, held it against his side, caught the 'run off' sparing my sofa, and quickly walked away before my guffaw could wake them up! :D :D :p

He actually thought it was pretty funny later. :)

zennia 02-26-2014 08:50 AM

Funny, Thanks for the laugh. Its so true.

wraez 02-26-2014 09:25 AM

gratefully my hubby was very hands on from the start, neither of us reacted like the youtube video, but it was hilarious!

tessagin 02-26-2014 09:30 AM

I knew a guy who could gut a deer and no problem but could not change his kids diaper with out gagging.

gale 02-26-2014 09:48 AM

I loved that! LOL! My husband is a farmer so thankfully has a pretty strong stomach. He was never queasy about changing diapers.

Roberta 02-26-2014 10:15 AM

Yes, thank you for the outright laugh today with this video. Why is it men just can't seem to take the most mundane chores that babies bring :-)

Tartan 02-26-2014 11:20 AM

I especially loved the Hazmat suit!:D

IBQUILTIN 02-26-2014 11:56 AM

OMG I laughed till I cried.

maryb119 02-26-2014 02:00 PM

I laughed so hard! We have 6 kids so nothing surprises us but this is too funny!

caspharm 02-26-2014 04:01 PM

Very funny! However, I was lucky, my DH could handle it, but I understand that MIL might have had issues. I know she my made my FIL clean up after the dogs and cats, which is funny because she cleans up after her birds.

QuiltinMama 02-27-2014 06:05 AM

oh I needed that today..... oh man the smell and the mess ..... never a dull moment with kids...
my girls always peed when you took their diapers off of them..... boy that was a mess..!!
brought back some laughter too...
hugs

That is so funny. I laughed until tears ran out of my eyes. Then my nose ran. I'm still wiping my nose an eyes. Thanks for a great laugh.

jojo47 02-28-2014 02:49 PM

LOL! I kept looking for a 'like' button as I do on Facebook! Thanks for the belly laugh!

Mousie 03-09-2014 01:55 PM

yes ma'am I got the giggles. My whole family gets sick so easily and I always "just had to do it!"
Loved the baby that just got powdered!

laurilli 06-30-2014 04:41 AM

I laughed 'til I cried. It's so true. My husband was also a farmer, and would operate on cows, but could not change a diaper without gagging, see blood (as little as a cut finger)on a person without almost fainting. It's so funny what gets to each person differently.

rainbowcat 07-02-2014 02:02 AM

Haha, that video was so funny. Love the powder scene!

My girls are still young (2 and 5) so my memories are very fresh. Neither me nor my husband have had difficulties changing the diapers, but I really struggle changing my friends' kids' diapers. I learned now not to really "look" while cleaning until the worst is gone. That helped.
