many posts contain pictures that i cannot open using Firefox as my browser. this post is an example of one http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-156823-1.htm it is not one of the file types specified in the forum rules.
the pic below is the message that i get when i click on (download). from the responses to the posts, many people are able to see this file type. could someone explain this to me? thanks |
I have trouble with the ones that say (download) too. I just clicked on one and it said it was 9.5 MB I exited out real quick.

I stopped using foxfire for the very reason you mentioned. I suspect it was blocking alot of things I wanted to see. By the way after many months using another browser I rarely have a problem.

I just saved the file then opened with adobe. I use Firefox

To be perfectly honest, I don't often make the effort to try and download something. Although I ostensibly have broadband, Ireland's standard is very slow compared to a lot of other countries, and I don't have the patience.

I could not open my invoices from the oklahoma foodbank on firefox. I deleted firefox and have no problems opening anything
|
I don't have Firefox but from your picture it says 'Open with' and then gives the 'browse' button Click on the browse button and try some of the options. If that still doesn't work try saving the file in a special file you set up on your computer and try opening it then. If you still can't open the file get rid of Firefox and use a different program.
