Did you know that you can go up inside that arch? I sure didn't until a friend that lived near there told me that was one of the sight seeing 'things' they did with visitors to their place. Not sure if I would be able to go up in it myself though....

You can go up in the arch on a tram car. They have been known to get "stuck" but no harm....they know how to release them. The view from the top is awesome! St. Louis is an old city with alot of culture and history preserved.

I too have been in the top of the arch. have seen it while riding on AMTRAK too.. beautiful ! Love the movie that is shown at the arch as well. !
