That is so funny! Reminds me of my Dodger...she stretches all the distance and lays her head on a pillow, then snores so loudly. Thank you for sharing.

BG (stands for beautiful girl; name given to her at the shelter) gave up her dignity a looooooooong time ago!!! Love her anyway! She is a shepherd-akita mix and weighs about 90+ lbs!!!

Mine sleeps like that too. And if not on the couch with me on the floor right where I want to put my feet when I get up!

Is it true that if a cat or dog sleeps with it's belly exposed that it's very comfortable and secure in that environment?

psychonurse 09-28-2011 04:31 AM

Yes it is true. The abdomen is the must vulnerable spot on an animal so they are constantly protecting it. I have a bunch of "back sleepers" at my house!!!

quiltmau 09-28-2011 04:20 PM

absolutely darling-love our fur babies-

carrieg 09-28-2011 04:23 PM

MsMel 09-28-2011 04:23 PM

Love it!!! That's how it goes at our house too...if Dad is watching Football on the couch, the dog is taking over the loveseat...I bought myself a chair, and nobody gets to sit in it but me :)...now I can do my handquilting while the man and his dog are watching football :)

tuesy 09-28-2011 04:24 PM

haha! I have 3 cats that will do that to me. I get up and come right back and one of them is in my place..<<<< that trouble maker in my avatar
