I wonder why people pm you with a question on something for sale...
you PM them back and they have no idea why you are pming them

suebee 03-31-2011 05:19 PM

LOL, maybe because they have too many different things posted?? I dont know...I dont get it either.

Who Knows. Now you are finding out why some are "out there" in cyberspace.

Just had to vent

Hi Karen,

That's why I try to include the previous posting(s) in my messages so that they can see what was previously written.

when someone sends me a pm, I quote the reply and send it back to them with my answer, as it does get confusing what they were talking about if you get lots of pm messages

Then they ask how much...Don't they read! This is just a bad day for me....MS acting up and brain going wonkers and eyes darting around....

karenchi 03-31-2011 05:30 PM

Well, I think I'm going to do that.....

sewingsuz 03-31-2011 05:51 PM

I noticed that about How Much?

Sadiemae 03-31-2011 06:29 PM

Probably the same reason people don't read the rules before they post things for sale. The man that joined from China last night so he could sell and was so shocked that he would be deleted....

moonwork42029 03-31-2011 06:55 PM

In the title of the PM, I try to put the item # and description of what it is I'm asking about because when the reply comes back, I might not know what just the item number means.

Ex. #13 Chickens & # 15 Maps

If I get confused, I go to the person's name and check out their last few topics and that usually takes care of what I forgot about, lol.

Maybe it's cuz the majority here are over the age of 60????????? you know - the memory thing..........now what were we talking about???????????

Sadiemae 03-31-2011 06:58 PM

It tells how boring my life is when I always know...

Karen, sorry to laugh but this sounds like one of Ditter's jokes on old age!!!

BETTY62 03-31-2011 07:59 PM

I think it's sort of crazy but it has happened to me several times.

Gramof6 03-31-2011 10:18 PM

Or someone posts aboit something and they get numerous replies basically asking what has already been answered. LOL I just figure they might be like me & just don't pay close attention sometimes.LOL I have ripped out pcs in a block that I had sewn wrong and re-sewed them "wrong" again. Maybe it is an old age thing. LOL
