Wide Fabric
Would anyone out there know where one could purchase fabric wide enough to make twin size bed sheets?
Thank-you, JJC |
Try crafttownfabrics.com or marshallsdrygoods.com

Keepsake Quilting has 108" wide backing fabric.

I was wondering too, thanks for suggestions.

JoAnn's has 104" wide that I buy for quilt backings to save work. It's never on sale so watch for a coupon!

I usually get my extra-wide fabric at Fabric.com

I got mine at Fabric.com, it was a flannel and looked good.

I buy 108" white backing at Hobby Lobby.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions, greatly appreciated. I'm also wondering about the wide fabric in prints for children. Anyone seen anything of such and know where to locate some. Manufacturers make them and have printed fabric for children so a person should be able to get a hold of some somewhere I would think. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks - JJC

Keepsakequilting.com or fabric.com..also at Joann's. There is no Hancocks near here but would expect they have it.

Do a google search for "quilt backing fabric" and you will find all kinds of sources. I just did that and found a website called "Backside Fabrics" that seems to specialize in wide fabrics, so I'm off to check them out!
