Wide load sign

I was squaring up my quilt on the living room floor, measuring across the top, middle, and bottom, and then down the right side, middle, and left side. As I measured, I wrote the measurements on a piece of painter's tape (e.g. left pointing arrow, 94" right pointing arrow) and then I stuck the tape in place. All that crawling around on the floor tuckered me out, and when I was done, I put the quilt away. Later that afternoon I did some shopping-- pharmacy, hardware store, farmer's market, grocery store. I met a quite a few people I know and had a visit with most of them. That night as I was getting ready for bed, I took off my jeans and tossed them on the bed. Right across the butt of my jeans was a crosswise piece of tape--left pointing arrow, 93 1/2", right pointing arrow. There's nothing like wearing a wide load sign!

ROTFLOL! At least I don't feel so bad about my rear having its own zip code... LOL!

That's so funny, still laughing, sounds like something that would happen to me. Have a joyous morning.

Oh my! I'm lost as to why not one person that you talked to said anything to you. Of course, I'm also the person who would let a complete stranger know (in a tactful way) that his zipper is down! I'm reminded of the time when I worked at a bank downtown (80's-early 90's). I was crossing the street and a lady came up behind me and touched my back. I was wearing one of those blasted shirts that had the buttons all the way down the back. We stopped in the middle of the crosswalk and she buttoned the 3 buttons that had come undone! She said she just couldn't let me walk around with my camisole showing! I was appreciative!

Wonderful story, I am sure each one of us has done something similar......be it thread, or pins, or sewing needles, or a post it note......just think of all the people that you put a smile on their face....
