If you take any 2 digit number and subtract both the first and second digits (i.e. 25-2-5=18, 38-3-8=27), your answer will always be a multiple of 9 (i.e. 9x1=9, 9x2=18, 9x3=27, etc.). If you look through the list each time, the gifts have changed, but the same gift is shown for all the numbers that are multiples of 9. All the other numbers and gifts are just there as a smoke screen.
