Well, i did pull the trigger on the Teva Figuoro, shopping onlineshoes. I spent a couple of hours on the net searching for boots and considering the brands mentioned, but my attention kept coming back to this boot. I guess the faux shearling lining and the 12 degrees outside influenced my decision. Decent reviews too. We shall see! I hate to be cold and and I am in and out in this weather all day. It (weather) has arrived about 6 weeks early! Yikes!

I love Totes for keeping warm and dry. Not too attractive, but they're effective. Otherwise, Uggs for me.

I have a pair of Frye boots that I got in 1979. I have had them resoled once and have Sno-Sealed them twice. Some years I never take them off and some years I don't wear them I would never give them up.:D

I love my pair of Columbia boots. They are good to keep you warm to 25 below zero, which is what I need living in Northern Wisconsin. I think they cost me about $100 last year. Here is a link to the boots:

I have had a pair of Bare traps for many years. They have lasted and I still wear them.

Does anyone remember "Moon" boots? I loved those because they had a super warm liner and nylon outer.

Glad I live in AZ where boots are a fashion statement.

Sorell is my choice too, they are made in Canada I believe. You can snow boot types or many other styles.

While in Alaska 3 years ago I went to the "musk ox farm". they had scarves, mittens, blankets etc don't know if they make boots but if they do they would certainly be very warm. they say it is 8 times warmer than wool. I am so sorry I did not buy their scarf which is really knit in a circle and you can pull it up over your head to keep warm. Perhaps I can write or email them and still buy one.
