I loved touched by an Angel also. well not when i was a kid. hated it because my parents would make me sit and watch it with them sometimes.
I told my hubby about this lady and he got mad and thought me an idiot. especially when I told him that the lady said that God had told her to do it and that is why I accepted the money. needless to say that he doesn't believe in God. I have been praying and praying about it but he just hasn't seen the light so to speak.

No matter what his beliefs are why did he get mad???
The goodness of people shouldn't make anyone mad, hmmm, I don't get it!

I think sometimes people who don't believe feel 'threatened' by stories like this that 'challenge' their disbelief. Like 'how dare you tell me something that doesn't fit into my way of thinking about things'...don't want to feel like they might be wrong in their worldview.

God knows when.....As most of you know my son was just dx with the Bic C and is undergoing chemo. ... Well no work ,no pay, applied to ss and Va. Three months and no pay, but every time a bill was due,someone wanted My DDil to mow a yard to clean a house. someone wanted to buy one of my quilts or for me to teach a class on handwork ot quilting etc. long story short ,,,,,We never got behind on one bill,then son went to the bank and guess what, a Check from SSI was in his account....The Lord knows when.... Thank you Lord

I did yesterday. And it was from doing something very trivial.

I believe in angels, too, and want to thank you for your story!

Maybe DH was really angry at himself because he was unable to provide something that a stranger provided?
