Here is a video of a bike ride I would love to do but there are a few moments that would make me nervous as all get out.

This is in Chile and it is a downhill run on a mountain bike! The few spots that make me nervous would be the first set of stairs with the dog and ramp, then the transition jump at 2:27, then the final jump that you really have to time right otherwise your history!!

Anyway click on the toolbar and make it full screen to get the real thrill out of it!!

Maybe as a starter downhill a bit closer to home you could try the Virginia Creeper Trail. Call me a wimp but I'd rather coast down a beautiful tree lined path than a bunch of stairs.

No way, but then I'm a chicken!

Chileans must be really hardy people - riding this bike and surviving underground in a mine!

I just got back from riding our Greenline on my cruiser and did a little over 8 miles. It is a beautiful paved path that used to be a railroad track. When they get through with the entire build I will be able to ride a half mile to the getting on spot for my neighborhood and go pretty much anywhere I want in the city with out getting run over! :P

They also have a lot of mountain bike trails going beside the Wolf river heading to the trails at our huge park. There are 26 miles of trails in the park ranging from beginner to expert. The expert is like the Chilean down hill like you see on the video. I have broken several bikes on those trails and have seen several folks air lifted to the hospital.

But if I had the chance to ride that down hill I would do it!
