A FW without an electrical cord. I saw one on Saturday at the 400 mile yard sale. I was shocked by the price. Is just me or would you be shocked too?

erstan947 06-06-2011 06:43 PM

Certainly out of my price range~~:)

I may be the only wannabe quilter who doesn't lust for one of the cuties, so NO! I don't see why they should be more than $100 (now I'm ducking!)

I have been looking for a FW for the last few months. I had a $400 budget. I couldn't even come close to that price in my area. I was lucky enough to find a seller on this board. I'm so excited about get one. The feather weight is 1 year younger then I am.

WOW was it in perfect condition?

I am with irishrose......I have no desire for one, so have no idea if it is worth that price. Good luck in shopping for one.

0tis 06-06-2011 06:55 PM

Yes, I think that is a little much- maybe someone else would buy it - but shoot at that price you could get something new.

sueisallaboutquilts 06-06-2011 06:58 PM

That's crazy!!! I wouldn't buy one WITH everything for that much! And I mean the case, attachments, etc and of course, the cord!

hperttula123 06-06-2011 06:58 PM

I think it is a little much for it, just because you have to purchase a cord. If you could have tried it and seen how good it worked, then, I would have done it.
