I found a yard of the fabric that I used for making these fabric post cards and only paid $.25 for it!! With the last name Fish it is ideal for me!

what a deal love the postcards. You should join the postcards swap at . stitchinfingers.ning.com . I've done it for 2 months now

Love the cards! Remember when people sent post cards from vacation and saying "Wish you were here?" Now you get it over social media. Not so bad.

Too funny! I have some of that fabric! Used it to make curtains for my daughter's bathroom - one of the granddaughter's is using it to cut out individual fish and decoupage them to a jar.

Looks great...My son-in-law is also named Fish and loves things made for him with fishes on it...

Annaquilts 09-19-2013 07:22 AM

Great find! I made light weight blankets out of the same fabric with sherpa on the back side. I also used the scraps for an I Spy quilt a couple of years ago. Love that fish fabric! The blankets still look great and now my grand son is using them. The fabric doesn't seem to wear or fade and is nice and thick. I originally bought it at Walmart.
