Our part of Ohio does expect snow, but that changes with the weather forecaster you choose to watch.

Melinda in Tulsa 12-24-2010 07:30 AM

Oh I hope not! Last year was enough for me,

quiltinghere 12-24-2010 07:31 AM

Snow on Christmas - no traveling :) :)

thequilterslink 12-24-2010 07:32 AM

Oh yes, it is very white here, has been for quite a while, tiny little flakes falling now. HO HO HO

prairiequeen 12-24-2010 07:32 AM

No and we could really use some moisture.

raptureready 12-24-2010 07:34 AM

I'm watching the forecast and hoping! We're supposed to. It's supposed to start snowing this afternoon and stop tomorrow afternoon. There were a couple of board members in Eastern Iowa that said it was snowing there around 8:30 this morning but it hasn't hit E. central Illinois yet. We've still got some time left though so maybe. . . . .

Up North 12-24-2010 08:10 AM

WE have a white Christmas already no snow in the forecast but freezing drizzle!

amandasgramma 12-24-2010 08:13 AM

Yip -- everything's white here anyway from past snowfall, but they say we're supposed to get some snow tomorrow. YIPPEEE!!!

akrogirl 12-24-2010 08:13 AM

I can pretty safely say that we are not expecting a white Christmas, lol, though we may get a light covering of frost first thing in the morning.

Cyn 12-24-2010 08:15 AM

We are being told we may get a little! Very unusual!

cjomomma 12-24-2010 08:35 AM

My wish has always Been to see snow falling on my b-day (which is tomorrow) and I may finally get my wish. Actually it is suppose to start tonight and last thru tomorrow. Thank goodness all the roads have been salted because I gotta get up early and drive across town.

great aunt jacqui 12-24-2010 08:46 AM

we are white now. heading a bit south today, hope to be back here late tonight before any more snow falls

quiltinggrandmaca 12-24-2010 08:46 AM

Oh yeah, we will have a white Christmas. Snow has been around since the middle of November. We probably have 2 feet of the white stuff.

C.Cal Quilt Girl 12-24-2010 09:05 AM

Of course here in the Valley, tis the season for Fog !!
But forcasts may be for more rain this time :)

gypsyquilter 12-24-2010 09:07 AM

plainpat 12-24-2010 09:15 AM

ufoqueen 12-24-2010 09:19 AM

In south Texas? Our ac is running now cause it's 85. Merry Christmas and hope you're safe and warm.

dellareya 12-24-2010 10:19 AM

No snow, but it has been wet. Our days are in the 50's and 60's, but it gets chilly at night. We've had a lot of rain and a big storm is suppose to be coming in for tomorrow. We aren't traveling, so it's all o.k. with me.

sewgull 12-24-2010 10:49 AM

We had a white Christmas in 1989. Forecast is for a dusting of snow on Christmas evening (2010). We are not snow country
I live on the coast of S.C. We very seldom get snow. OK maybe 3 or 4 flakes.

Merry Christmas

quilter41 12-24-2010 10:55 AM

It is already white here and more is coming. Yah! Wouldn't be Christmas without snow.

Jim's Gem 12-24-2010 10:56 AM

No, a wet one maybe but never white. Actually it is gorgeous outside right now. After a week of rain it is clean clear blue skies and sunshine.

belmer 12-24-2010 11:03 AM

In Minnesota...... anyone who does not have the snow.... I will gladly send some your way. We are way above average for December.... It is pretty at Christmas time!

CoventryUK 12-24-2010 11:10 AM

We are covered in snow and have been for over a week! The novelty is wearing off now!!!! -2c at the moment(Thats cold here!) it's 7pm and the temp is falling fast! More snow forcast for the next few days!! Luckily we are warm and snug and have everything we need so will just sit by the fire and enjoy the season!! Merry Christmas to you all!!!

sewmuchmore 12-24-2010 11:52 AM

I hoping for a white Christmas Middle Georgia does not get snow to often. To have it on Christmas let's just say, Atlanta is about 45 north and it has been over a hundred years the last time it snowed there on Christmas. Let it snow, Let it Snow!!!!!!

Karina 12-24-2010 12:11 PM

We have a white Christmas with much snow and a heavy storm. Here in Germany is this day chaotic. In the morning it started with ice rain and now we have a snowstorm (I think you call it blizzard). Some highways closed and a few trains stopped on the way. Lots of flights are cancelled.

I must think on all the people they can't be at home because of the weather today.

cjomomma 12-24-2010 12:23 PM

It has started sleeting here! Snow to come later! Yay!!

bluteddi 12-24-2010 12:52 PM

expecting??? we already got it!... officially we have 22 inche sof snow and especting 3 mroe inches. ( missed 6 inches for yesterday!!!

just-sew-together 12-24-2010 01:12 PM

AB-SEW-LUTELY!!! Snowing at this very moment and has been for over an hour. Don't have to DREAM of a white Christmas..... ground already had several inches from a few days ago and now fresh fallen snow makes the place look like a Christmas card. It is beautiful. Luv, Luv, Luv the snow except when it's time to go out and shovel..... but then again it has it's plus side also.

Cuilteanna 12-24-2010 01:23 PM

Unfortunately yes, and I never want to see another as long as I live! Ireland can not cope with it, thousands of people are stranded and either can't get home or can't get out of their homes. None of my or dh's families can get to anyone else this year.

amma 12-24-2010 01:38 PM

Sadly no.... not even a few flakes in the air :(
