Lucky you. Canton is my hometown, but moved to Raleigh in 2004

I live in Bolivia, NC, 30 minutes south of Wilmington and close to Southport. We are new to NC - the so called "come heres", not the original "born heres", :) but we sure do love it here!

Not a native as I am originally from NJ but have been in north central NC not too far from the VA state line and Greensboro for about 20 years now. Still don't say "y'all" or "wreck" and definitely cannot drink the "sweet tea" but love that the restaurants serve iced tea all year long. Still not used to the heat especially during this past ebbing summer. Too darn hot for too darn long!
