Wow! This is really fun reading about everyone - I was born in Troy and now reside in Candor, NC was surprised to see a Biscoe person contact me and we can get get together. Been looking for other local quilters.

Former NY/NJ resident. Indian Trail, NC since 2006. Some of our LQS' have closed in this area. I hear there's a new one in Wilmington, 3 hrs. away.

Yep. Stalling's "Quilt Patch" is nice. They have mainly traditional fabrics. I like traditional, but love batiks and Kaffe etc.

Well, I know there's at least 4 of us within driving distance of Monroe. Two in Monroe area, one in Wadesboro and one in Indian Trail. Sounds like a great group for lunch one day!
