Here we are in Northern Oklahoma and man are we snowed in....talk about making you stir crazy...we moved here from Alaska and want to go out and play, but alas...the winds are too harsh..and snow is too fluffy..hehehe
sew, sitting here all day instead....how about you?? |
Gorgeous sunshine, blue skies, 73 degrees, a little windy though.
I know you've been having really tough weather in N. OK. We've had lots of snow and cold, but nothing the road crews can't handle. I watch your weather because my cousin and his family live near you.

Nope, not even a little! I know that is mean & snarky to all of those who have endured such harsh winters & I am sorry! I am headed to Ohio this weekend for a wedding so I will get a taste of winter!
my friend in MS is getting it now...they never have snow...
they don't clear the roads here...not even the AF base got done today... |
I sure am. We got what you all had. We already had 5 inches of snow on the ground already and got another unexpected 5 inches today. I'm not complaining, I enjoy the snow!

In SW Missouri we have much more snow than usual. Spring....where are you?
We are snowed in again. Last week we had record snow and now we have lots more. record cold tonight then we start to warm up. We go from single digits to 6o on Sat. crazy!
we have been out of school all of last week and most of this week. This is unreal.
We are snowed in. Have been for almost two weeks. Apparently we do not get snow plow services on farm roads?!?!?! Can you believe it !! How crazy is that!! My lil ones School has been closed for two weeks already. Buses can't get through streets are covered in ice and snow. Im ready for spring. Losing more and more of my sanity being stuck in this house for so long !!
Cold, but not alot of snow. Much less than usual. Beautiful skate on the canal last Saturday.
Happy to say no. We did get snow in middle Georgia. I am looking out the sky is turning blue and the snow will be gone by this afternoon.
Well, "they" think so LOL
3.8 inches + a bit that was already there and schools are closed again. I have to remind myself that this is the South! When we lived in the So Cal mountains we had 4+ foot over several days before Valentines. Now that was snowed in! DH and the neighbor guy played dueling snowblowers while digging out the neighborhood. |
Not a bit! Had hopes last night (slim). Woke up to a very light dusting of snow. Oh well. Hope everyone at your house is safe and warm. Thanks for posting the pics. At least I can look at your snow!
We seldom get snowed in for more than a day or two. Here the wind with snow is more of a problem than the amount of snow. We were in for two days last week because of white-outs caused by blowing snow. On these flatlands there's just not much to stop it. When it's blowing so hard that you can't see the hood of your car it's time to stay in.
