Default Finally I can do some sewing

The power just came back. We've been on generator for almost 3 days which means no heat creating devices. Now I can do my laundry...wait, that's no fun. Tomorrow I will do the laundry, but in between loads I will be pressing fabric, cutting out a project, sewing pieces, pressing them and smiling while I do.

We were lucky that we had no damage just loss of power. Prayers & good karma being sent to those with serious damages.

Have fun sewing it's better than laundry. Glad to hear you didn't have damage losing power is bad enough. Bless those who are in such a mess. It will get better from one who has been thru it. Good luck and many blessings and hugs. Sue

Glad you are "back to normal" and that you didn't have any damage. Laundry is Bad: Sewing is Good! Praying that all the ones affected by storm will quickly regain their lives!

From one who has been there, too!!!!

So glad you have power back. I hate being without it. We were out of power a few years back for a week and other times of the year, due to ice storms and other areas having other problems. I am always thankful for do damages.

Glad you're back on power! A little bit of quilt therapy is in order. We loose power often and am really feeling for those hit hardest by Sandy. Thankfully our damage here was minimal.

I had to look up Morgantown, PA. You live in a great area of PA -- near many good Italian restaurants. We use to go thru the Allentown/Carlisle area when our daughter was in college in NYC. Glad you have power now to sew. We were hit hard last summer. Many trees went down with that storm. So our area of WV wasn't hit quite as hard this time.
