It happened when you named her. that was how we got storm short for stormtrooper. My husband brought home this, an hour from death. cat found in a dark rainstorm on a main highway late at night, how he saw her Ill never know. But she survived even the abuse she had been through, glue put on her paws, whiskers burned off tail cut, had to be amputated half of it. but what a joy she is every day, though a terror to our older cat. good luck, you have made the right choice.

The moment you named her she became yours. Have fun with your new addition and please post a picture of your new furbaby!

My husband always said when you named them, they're yours! Have to say I agree with him!

I became a failed foster parent to two kittens when I could not stand to have anyone else look at them at their first and only adoption event. They have been with us for ten years.

Had a Mr, MuffinCat that we rescued years and years ago, looked like someone had used him for a paintbrush. Hat to cut off all his hair, he was long haired and most likely had main coon cat in him because he grew to be quite big.

Another story about loving, kind hearted people who rescue little animals. Thank you!

when you saw her..sight....
when she whimperred....sound...
when you snuggled her.. touch
when you washed her...smell
when she marked her territory....she was yours.

We found a kitten in our garage a year ago, and my son and I pretended we were trying to find it a home, as we already had 2 dogs and a cat, but we had named him before he got in the house and had a tag and collar on him by the end of the day. My poor husband knew he was beat! Guess who the cat loves the most? Youre right - my husband!
