Now I challenge all of you to try the same thing a month from now and see if you can still do it.

Ahh, why take the fun out of something so harmless? I think sometimes whimsical is necessary, especially for kids to get that look of wonder in their eyes.

By the way, Snopes was started by a man and woman who DECIDE if something is true or false, no research goes into it other then what they want to google. 20/20 did a report on Snopes. The couple wasn't very talkative, just kept shrugging their shoulders. They did admit they didn't check anything much, just went with what felt was true or false.

I think there are wonders we're not suppose to understand!! Why is there not enough dirt to refill a hole dug during a full moon? If the dirt that was dug out is put right back in, it won't fill the hole...my dad showed us this all the time when we were young. BTW, been a while since I've been "snipe hunting"!! My dad used to tell us he was going to take us snipe hunting! Never did though so I finally figured it out! LOL

I tried the broom and it worked, so there must be something wicked going on.

Oh I forgot it's the broom I use to take a ride with, so I guess not something really extraordinary!

If it works with a modern broom with the slanted cut, they have nylon bristles. It is probably due to the weather that they stand up. It is likely static electricity with all the storms around.
