Oh, my, since reading this I am trying to decide if some of this is quirky or just makes sense. LOL I do walk to the potty in the middle of the night with my eyes closed as much as possible, don't turn on any lights either!! I think it is in protest. You make me go, but you can't make me wake all the way up to do so!! Cans sorted and labels out, it only makes sense. My kids say I am a hoarder, but they are hard pressed to say I don't know what I have or where it is. There is a method to my maddness. Where I put things have to make sense, as my memory is not good. Not good at all!! OH, yes shower duties are all in the RIGHT order. Wash hair, apply cream rinse, start with the face, neck ears, and work down. Feet last. Who wants to wash their fact with a cloth that has been in the "neather regions". LOLOLOL!! And my DGS sleeps with his eyes open. It is creepy.

I have the (good) habit of always using my turn signal, when I turn. I even (automatically) do it, when I pull out of my parking spot (behind the house), into my own driveway . . . and after I come home, when I pull back into my parking spot, from my own driveway. Yes, it makes me feel silly . . . but I just can't help myself.

Speaking of glasses... I'm not sure if I disclosed this quirk of mine or not... I can't wear my glasses when I go to the bathroom. I have no idea why but they bother me (yes, even if I'm only going pee pee). That's weird, right?
I don't know if it's weird, but I've never experienced it. I personally get foggy headed without my glasses and that makes me dizzy and disoriented so I only take them off for bed.
I do know ppl, adults and children that can't wear clothes when they use the loo.
That must certainly take up some time!

oh goodness, no!
I wash my face, then my neck and go down. Won't mention what gets washed last but it's time for the hamper when I'm done with it
(I do always do these things in the same order.)

I can't imagine once you've mentioned it to them, that they don't want to go turn their clothes right side out!
(I do hope this isn't bc it didn't go through the washer since they wore it )

My cans of food also has to face forward, and organized together, veggies together, soup, etc. Maybe not quirky but it makes since. My knives in my drawers have to go a certain way and I'm always going back in and fixing them when someone else puts them away.
I always push my chair in when I get up from a table/desk and it drives me crazy when people leave it out. At work I'm always pushing the desk chairs back in out of the way and at a resturant I do the same thing. At a restuarant I stack my dishes and pick up any paper from straws, etc to make it easier for waitress to clean up later. After yrs of programming my kids do the same thing.
I guess that's about it. I think I'm too lazy to be to quirky about to many things. I'm not a neat-nick by any means but when I do something I want it done right or what's the use.
we have a lot in common!

my husband thinks it's crazy that I use the signal to turn into our driveway when no one is coming and my response is:
I want it to be an ingrained habit!

I think I left the impression that I'm weird (hey... nothing from you in the Peanut Gallery!). I don't take showers -- only baths. I wash my face first but not with a washcloth. I just soap up my hands (with special face goo) & wash my face with that. Then I start washing my body (at my feet). But I kinda skip around & let's just say "below the waist" is last. Then the washcloth goes in the hamper (I only use a towel & washcloth once). So please don't think I wash those "places" & then use that same wash rag on my face. Ick! I'm a weird-o but I'm not a sick-o.

[QUOTE= My knives in my drawers have to go a certain way and I'm always going back in and fixing them when someone else puts them away.

My knives have to be put away "correctly" also... one goes one direction, the next goes upside-down. It's the same theory I use with my towels.
