RAIN...in Oklahoma...

My cousin lives just outside Corn, OK. Is that close to you? I sympathize w your weather and power outages. Seems she freq experiences power outages. I'd be so afraid of losing everything in the freezer. It must be rough on the wildlife , too.

DH just sent me a picture of the temp in OKC, it's a cool 72. It is getting very windy and dark here and the temp has probably dropped 15 degrees in the last 20 minutes or so.

glad you guys have gotten some rain..... I agree you could have done without the high winds, thunder,an no power...

Heard that Boyd, TX got some of the rain...how about the rest of you...

I got my peaches canned, and just in time...another storm is on its way...bring it...I went a head and prepped dinner to be done on the grill just in case..I am done for the day.!

I also live in OK and was more than excited about the rain and the first day of school for my 9th grade daughter (woo, hoo)! We are rural and have had power off/on for the last 3 days, but I will gladly take it with a little rain. Still praying for those of you not getting any rain.

I live in the Texas panhandle and we got rain Tuesday and thursday morning, I sure have enjoyed the cooler weather.

We didn't break 80 today in LR and have been getting rain for the last couple of days! It's WONDERFUL!!!! There is the promise of fall in the air! Praying though that the rain heads to OK and TX!!!

My sister said they got 3.5 inches in Tulsa. I know she needed it. Hope the heat break for a little while. I am praying for you all in OK.
