[QUOTE=Quilty-Louise;4944910]More questions about what you do.

1) Do you cross stitch? Yes, but the counted cross stitch

2a) Do you like to do a LOT of applique (that involves cutting small pieces
and/or in tight corners)? YES YES and YES..LOVE doing applique What kind of scissors do you use?Not really sure the brand name..
2b) If you applique do you do fusible or raw edge turn (or both)?Haven't tried fusible ..usually I just turn
2c) What kind of scissors do you use?

3) Do you like "blocks" that are not finished? (size 12-1/2" I think)?Working on doing a quilt that has multiple types of blocks that are going to be in it..

4) Do you like BOM patterns that are "missing" a one or two of the
months (like the Joanns BOM's)?

5) Have you seen those magnifying glasses that clamps to the machine?
Hand quilt here..do have a machine but only use it if I have to rush to get something done..which is not often
(click on this LINKif you need a better description). I bought one of
these when I saw it on clearance, but it didn't fit my machine and I
could not return it.

In a previous post I mentioned hand quilting; the thread I had has been
spoken for already.

I am ALMOST finished with "cleaning" my sewing room, and have added
MANY things to my bins for RAK goodies. In fact I now have 2 bins that
are 24qt size FULL.

Well that is about it for the moment, if I have anymore question I will
come back to ask. Maybe I will get pictures of my "clean" sewing room
and post them for you.

Hi Louise here are my answers:

1) Do you cross stitch? No

2a) Do you like to do a LOT of applique (that involves cutting small pieces
and/or in tight corners)? Yes, I love applique. What kind of scissors do you use? Small Simplicity with curved tip.
2b) If you applique do you do fusible or raw edge turn (or both)? I do fused. I want to learn needle turn as well.
2c) What kind of scissors do you use? I use several different ones. I have small ones. I have large that are the the spring loaded ones with no loop on top.

3) Do you like "blocks" that are not finished? (size 12-1/2" I think)? Orphan blocks are cool.

4) Do you like BOM patterns that are "missing" a one or two of the
months (like the Joanns BOM's)? What an opportunity to come up with a block or two that will work with the others.

5) Have you seen those magnifying glasses that clamps to the machine? I have that same one. I got it more for the light. The light wasn't that great and I always forgot to turn it off and the batteries went dead very quickly. But I do use the magnifier and love it.

On Saturday I went shopping for my SP and found some fabric that I just had to get for myself and for someone else on the RAK that also likes this kind of fabric. I'm hoping to mail some time this week.

Me too! Me too! Brenda sent me a HUGE softie full of crewel yarn. My cutting table it too full to take a photo right now, but I will later. I am hoping to get Melissa to do some hand embroidery with it. Thank you!
