the cd copy idea sounds kewl. i had saved copies of quilt patterns i collected on a cd and last year when my computer had a really mean virus it wiped my cd clean.... presto no more quilt patterns. i have tried not to think about it too much because if i do i will start crying. that cd contained several years of collecting quilt patterns.

and krystyna it is funny you said that about your hair, i sent one of my sp swap partners some also and she thanked me for sending her dgd some hair goodies. i didnt even bother to correct her, whatever floated her boat at the time was good with me. it was good enough for me that they would be well used.

And yes, Louise, the board has been a little flakey today. Maybe too much traffic on this chilly Sunday afternoon.

I've been spending (too much) time sorting through my bookmarks. What a bunch of wonderful stuff I've found. I've been thinking of putting all the pdfs for patterns onto a disk once I've gotten them all organized - anyone else do this? If so, would anyone eventually like a copy?

I was RAK'd yesterday by the 3 Musketeers: Kris aka thomp116, Diana aka walk-n-roll, & Sheila aka sheila-in Erie. There was a zipper pouch made with Steelers fabric, which I just love. Inside was full of some much wanted scraps (including Steeler) and a gift card to Joann's. Thank you ladies it was a wonderful surprise when I checked my mail last night

Nice RAKs!
Speaking of hair doo dads ... I know that when you get to a "certain age" you're supposed to wear short hair. Thankfully we are no longer in an age where that hair was tinted pink or blue. (Why on earth did ladies do that?) Anyway, I am hair impaired. I cannot fashion a decent do if my life depended on it. It is straight as a stick, still primarily auburn, and quite long. I get sick of having it wrap around my neck when I sleep or get caught in the zipper of my coat or flap in my face when I take the dogs to the beach so I wear it in braids. I guess it would be better if I lived in Montana or on a mountain somewhere rather than in an upscale suburban neighborhood, but it is what it is. I am now officially an eccentric old lady.

Those are the cards you made, Quiltymom. I love them! I have sent them with all my RAK'S. Before I send each one I write on the back that they were made by you for me when I was your SP. Thanks again

You are very welcome, Robyn. So glad you like it. I'm sure you realize where the Steeler stuff came from but I was happy to contribute to this RAK for you.
