yay my sil is to start her chemo therapy next week........ finally!! she has been weak, up chugging for the longest with loss of appetite and tiring easily. the treatments are to start aggressive and then taper to every 3 weeks. the pathologist wouldn't tell her what their latest findings were because he said he didn't want her going online looking for info to add to the chaos. he is leaving it up to her oncology specialist to explain it all to her. what a crock of %$&^&&*/*\*#!!!

my db and sil are of a temperament much different than mine. he is the middle child and has always had a piecemaker kinda attitude. and since my sil is an only child with noone else to seriously butt in her business and do the nasty doc fighting except for me (lol), my db has said they will handle it. but they never seem to have the full answers when i grill him. oh well i am trying my best to stay sisterly calm in all this but if it were me, i wouldn't be walking outta any of those docs/specialist offices without some hard talk and my questions answered. it has been so hard for me to breath freely since we found out about this but i realize that no matter how hard it is for me, it must be many times magnified for my db & sil. i really look forward to the walks he & i take each morning now and i relish each one. if it brings either of us a moment of comfort (plus some exercise) it is all for good. he and i like to debate world, government, local politics, so our walks give him a moment of distraction.

on another note: i made it to the next interview stage (this coming monday) with the company in az. i have put out a call to my professional colleagues in az to get city stats (cost of living, housing costs, co rep, salary averages) to prepare myself if i get to step 3(also for step 2) which is flying there to interview in person. i talk to the hiring manager on monday so i have to brush up on my 'speech' this weekend. i am sure the question of 'why would i like to work for this company' will eventually come up.

ok so on an additional note: i have received a coupla of rak's that i promise i will get pics posted soon. i have acknowledged receipt & sent thanks to the senders i just haven't posted pics yet. i still have my pile of racs to send out. i did manage to get one mailed yesterday though. i have been so tattered thoughted (aka scatter brained) lately because i am juggling so many things (physical & mental), but i will keep plugging away. it will all get done.

mary

I have been SUPER swamped this week as I got a call
from the boss Tuesday night asking me if I could work
the rest of the week, so of course I said yes.

WOW has it been busy too! but I feel so bad for "dumping"
all the customer order calls on Jesse (one of the guys I work with)
because I had been gone for so long that I forgot MOST of the each
of the Mfg products. Lucky for me out of about 15-20 Mfgs that we
rep for I remember how to go into the warehouse and pull orders for
6 of them, but there are some new vendors, that I know nothing about
their products, and yet others that I just don't remember much if any
at all.
Then there is all the pricing of stuff, NO WAY can I do that, because steel
prices keep going up so that means that most of our product is getting
their prices increased as well, and for a couple of the Mfgs they are raising
their costs of the product yearly and one of them is going month by month
on if they will be raising costs.

So needless to say pricing has changed TONS in the last 3-1/3 years
since I was laid off from here.

So with ALL that done, I WILL be sending pm's out to everyone who
sent me cards/gift for my birthday, and I apologize immensely for the
delay.
