My box 'fixing up' will be on hold for awhile. Just know I'll be 'lurking' -- I was out walking yesterday (broad daylight) and tripped and fell. Yep, you guessed it - broke my shoulder. Got the humerus bone right at the shoulder. In a 'stabilizer' - at least it dtdn't require surgery or an overnight in the hospital. Made a three-point landing - got the right knee pretty bad, my left hand and elbow plus the shoulder. Ever saw "The Walking Dead"? That's what I feel like. Pretty sore this a.m.

Oh ouch, that makes me hurt just to think about it! Also sounds like something I would do, I fall off of my feet pretty regularly. My hubby keeps telling me I need a walker.

What is a stabilizer? Is that when they wrap it up instead of a cast, that's what they did when I broke my collar bone. Sending you virtual hugs, cuz the real ones would probably hurt.

rosemary, aka ladybug, thank you so much for my wonderful tissue holder. sorry no pics yet as i haven't found my camera yet. it is made in a black & white patterned floral fabric and just lovely. thanks for thinking of me,

on another note: i think i have become the stray animal whisperer in my new neighborhood. somehow strays see me and know that i will feed them. they start talking to me, meowing at me or just looking at me with long sad puppy dog faces. 1st there was one cat, now there are 2. the dog just got my dinner and kept going.

i have a soft spot for strays since both of my furbabies were stray rescues. maybe they neighborhood strays can "smell" that on me. either way i now need to go buy big bags of cat & dog food to keep in my trunk.

No I am not the keeper of the RAK that was a misunderstanding on someones part.
If Quiltly Lousie is no longer doing it and no one else steps in it will fizzle out.

Good morning all,
Happy dance...got my first rak this a.m.
Its from Donna aka up north
i got wild berry herbal tea, thats for tonight with a cranberry muffin.
And a bun h of sand with pretty white zebra mussle shells from ne Michigan, lake Huron in Rogers city mi.
she even made me a nice card to go along with it. Also...she sent me a postcard map showing the cost, a beautiful pic in itself and the map showing what beach it came from.
living here on the island, it never occured to me that mussles grow in a lake, ut then again, these are the Great Lakes.
Thank you so much for te thoughtful rak.
sorry no camera yet.
