Do any of you make rag rugs, if so where do you get your canvas, bear in mind I am in the UK. I have tried eBay and there is plenty on there but seems very expensive.

I have all the equipment!!! Something on my ' to do' list!!!! Got carried away at the NEC craft fair some years ago!!! Lol! Most of the ones I've seen are done on hessian with a tool called a ' Bodger'! Just been looking for the book.....can't lay my hands on it at the moment!!

If you are asking about locker hooking canvas, it is available on Amazon and so is the hook.

early hooked rugs were done using burlap as the backing. Is that easier to get in UK than the canvas?
