That is a wonderful gift as a memory. The details of that doll are incredible. Great job for finishing it.

Thank you, Battle Axe! I took video of the ballet and of the rehearsals, but I have no idea what kind of shape they are in now. That was 18 years ago. The costumes all belong to the ballet company. By now, they have probably moved on to newer costumes, as with all the nutcracker costumes I made.

Our ballet years were special and something we did as a family. My two sons both danced too. I was costume mistress for a number of years.

Alan Dart has fantastic patterns. I've made many. Usually the harder part is not the knitting but putting all the pieces together. You did a great job.
