    Remember when.......

Get the tissues ready before you start watching this!!!

    Very tender ... !
Watch the video even after the music stops, the little cartoon guy goes on for a short time after the music ends.
The singer is Alan Jackson. He recorded this song quite some time ago, and wrote it for his wife.

"Up" is one of my favorite movies. The story behind the cartoon is wonderful. This made me cry. The music is perfect with it. Thanks for sharing this with all of us. It helps us to apreciate what is really important.

Thanks so much for posting this Ditter! I had forgotten about that song. It is one of my favorites by Alan Jackson. I love the video that Alan Jackson did has his wife and children and other family members in it. Hope you don't mind but I would like to post a link to the Alan Jackson video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTA2buWlNyM

Thank for the reminder of why fate picked him for me.

I so agree. DH has been in Long Island for 6 weeks with FEMA and due to come home this Wed. Watching this reminds me how much we both count on each other. Thank you Ditter.

Ditter, I'm late at reading a lor of these posts, but thank you so much for this one! My husband and I are celebrating 40 years together tomorrow (Jan 27), and this evening we got together with 3 of our 4 kids & their families to celebrate. (Our youngest daughter & her husband recently moved to Seattle & were unable to be with us.) We had a beautifully memorable time!
When someone mentions quilting, I go to pieces!

Beautiful, and makes me sad that I didn't have that kind of adventure.
