Yesterday was my last day on job at Heber Springs Police Dept as 911 Dispatcher. Really gonna miss it but will have so much more time for my grand kids and quilting. I am so ready for a Shop Hop! One coming up in 2 weeks also and am very excited. Plus I am going down to LQS and learn to use the Long Arm to quilt.

I know that you will enjoy retirement as much as I do. I am excited to see what more you make now that you are going to have all that extra free time. See you in August at Daisy Patch.

Isn't that the truth, after a little adjusting you wonder where all the time was before.Especially with all the new projects you can choose. The best to you.

I retired 2 years ago and people ask me 'How's retirement?' I say very busy. I put so much off untill I retired, that now there is not enough time in a day and my 'to do' list continues to grow. First thing I did was finish the top to a quilt started 25 years ago. I now make lists so I don't get too distracted and have to many ufo's. Enjoy!

congrats on your retirement. My daughter is a 911 dispatcher - I've heard how stressful that can be. Enjoy your retirement.

If you're like us, you'll love it. We bought an '89 VW camper and have put over 200,000 miles on it! Guess I'd get a bit more quilting done if we stayed home more, but am back to working on my GFG quilt again.

Find what you love to do and do it!

I retired a year ago, now I'm back working parttime, 9-3. I like getting out everyday but, it has cut down on me making quilts.

Good for you, I hope you enjoy your retirement.
