Oh Joy! When I got home from quilting today my yard was full of robins. That does give me hope that spring is finally on the way. I am so tired of snow, gloom and winter. The next signs will be the hummingbirds, my favorite.

The hummingbirds so not show up here until the first week of May so we have a while yet but the robins are back waiting for the red wing blackbirds.

had a robin sitting on my clothesline tdy...he was studying the ground awful hard...guess he was looking for mr. worm aka breakfast lol

I've been feeding the redwing blackbirds all winter. They should be nice and fat for the trip. Saw my first hummingbird today. Rushed to fill the feeders. Love to watch them. They will come and hover at the window if they are out of food. I'm just not ready for 80 and 90 degrees. March is too early to be this warm. :)

Our bluebirds are back too!

Yes are hummbirds show up about the third week in April. Sometimes they are sorry because we get those nasty wet snowstorms.
