It sounds like a Chevy Chase movie "Christmas Vacation" where the squirrel gets in the house. You should send a copy of the viseo to Funniest Home Videos TV show. This is too funy not to share....(still wiping my eyes from laughing)

yep we had to put a cage type thing on top of your fire place chimney too. something fell inside the lining and our cat kept watch over the fireplace for days. we heard claws once in a while on the metal but no other noises. sad to keep hearing that and not being able to help what ever it was in there.
