It could be the type of roses you are growing.

Very pretty, I love roses too and have many in my garden, your garden looks lovely and tranquil to sit out in.

oh its beautiful. You must love walking round your garden. I hope I can grow roses when we move to Perth. Im going to miss my garden here. The kids have always bought me roses & daffodils for birthdays & mothers day. Will be so hard to leave them behind!

heya sharon, i dont know a lot about the ins & outs of growing flowers, but do you give your plants a feed when they start to grow? What about dead-heading after blooming, more flowers usually appear then.

Yes, I do. It depends of the rose species you have, some have multiple blooms, others only one. It's important to feed them with a high quality organic fertilizer in spring and to cut all the faded blooms regularly. But I also think that our earth here is very fertile for roses.

Very nice!!!! I have 1 Mr. Lincoln (gorgeous), then a mid-size and 2 small. The mid and small get multiple roses. Still have problems with June bugs though. I use a systemic 3-in-1 and the bugs still coming. Do you get these little buggers?
