I went to a quilt show today with my friend and her 15 year old daughter. The flyer for the quilt show said "Admission for persons 18 years of age and older $6". I paid two admissions and we headed into the gym. I hear the attendant yell, "how many did you pay for?" Of course, I replied two and that Sarah (15) was free. She yelled back, "It's ten". I produced the flyer and none of the three ladies taking money knew about the age for admission. She made a hugh scene and embarrassed all three of us. When she read the flyer she thanked me for pointing this out to her...but no apology. I'm still fuming.

That is pretty rude, at least she did thank you instead of blowing it off altogether.

That's too bad. I guess the people designing the flyers better get together with the admissions people.
