Default It Rained!

First measurable rain we're had since the end of May. Thunder and lightening too. It was great to see things perking up this morning.

I know!!! We had 2"...only problem was that it came down so hard that most of it probably rolled right off instead of sinking in.
The dog had a bad night with all the thunder and lightning...she barked at the sky a couple of times.
I have pulled a whole lot of weeds this morning...wet ground makes them come out with roots.

Good for you!!! We need it here too in SE Ia, but I'm glad somebody got some....and without any wind or hale damage.

Finally got rain in central Texas....lots of it. So good to see everything green-ing up again. It did rain hard, thunderstorms and fabulous lightning shows! Finally started comin' down in a nice steady drizzle so it could soak into everything really good. Thank you LORD.

We got some, too... not enough to make a different -- just enough to make it more humid. I have my sprinkler on right now, tho I think it may be too late to salvage much.
