    I draw my own patterns for purses on paper bags. You might want to try it, it can save you some money and they come out just as nicely as with a store bought pattern.

    I agree, I draw my own patterns also, but I always put more pockets inside.

    I'm interested if someone has a pattern. I use a cane now and a cross body purse is much more convenient to use, don't need a hand to control it. I have a small leather one that I leave on when I get into my car, seat belt goes over it without any problem and purse doesn't intefer with my driving. It's a little hard and pokes me in the ribs sometimes so a nice soft fabric cross body purse is just what I need. May in Jersey

    Do you need a special pattern for cross body bags or could you just add a long strap to a regular bag pattern?
