I have made several. I cut two pieces of fabric 18" square. Then I use a 6' or 8" bowl to cut half circles out of each side. So it looks like a curvy x. Then sew the two together right sides together leaving a section to turn. Tun right side out and top stitch all around, closing the opening. Iron.

This is the one I have made and I love it. I made mine with a prequilted fabric and put some binding around the edge of it. I use it constantly for biscuits, cornbread whatever.

This is how I make mine. I usually use white or off-white fabric and embroider a kitchen design ie: teapot, coffee cup,etc in one or more of the corners. Have also used checked gingham and did chicken scratch in the corners. Have also appliqued Christmas designs on white ones. I have purchased bread baskets and inserted them for gifting and made them for sale at my church bazaar. So many possibilities.
