At the same time, I don't think that I need to give it all away...I am sure that I were put Free on it all it would be gone in an instant...but I have been listing at a decent price based on what I paid....I think that we all have to look at the seller, we have to look at the quality - the fabric..the selection..there's a lot of things to consider..sometimes is just that one of the sellers may have just the piece that we've been looking for for that special project....
I have had a couple of people write to ask to swap fabrics for fabrics that I have listed.....or if I would give them a special deal on pieces, etc...
I don't get upset about that - it's all in communication....
I have been having fun - people are finding things that they like - for me it's a win-win situation...
If the items I list don't sell it's really not a problem either..this is not my work..I don't do this for a living...and because of that I can afford to have fun and not worry about it. If things don't sell they go right back into my stash.... and we all know that a bigger stash is never a problem for any of us :-)
hello, i see from your profile and postings that you've been here about 6 months and sold only once. you've also taken part in other threads and looked for things to buy. since joining, you've made yourself a member of the community, so that's not the same thing at all.

NO, moving, but will still be a part of the family.......
The one thing that I can't wait to get is a sewing room - I had a bit sewing room at my home before I moved..now in a small apt. that doesn't exist..but I want an even bigger one in the next place...just that will be worth moving :-).......I won't lose my quiltig community - it's too important...love the forum....love the gang.....

I too love the board members here and hope that things won't change too drastically. I can see all sides of the buy/sell/trade thing. I hope that I am considered a halfway decent member, but then again...:D
Hope that this get clarification soon. Hugs to all :D

I just go into the buy/sell thread to see what is up for sell. One person has so many items, it looks like she use to own a business. Prices seem to be original retail prices. She has been on for some time. Most things I look at seem to be very good deals. I am just curious as to what someone wants to sell and what others are looking for. Heaven knows I sure don't need more stuff.

I have bought and sold on here.we have great prices here.As long as you are not in your 1 st month who cares how much you are selling as long as customers are happy. If you do not want to buy you do not have to look.when people pay with paypal they are covered if seller screws them over.I for a lot of times have added free fabric in the boxes, even sent free stuff a few times with out posting for the world to see.
