I have a very dear friend, a New Home Memory Craft6,000. I am looking to replace it with a new machine. I do lots of quilting, very little if any embroidery. At the quilt show today I looked at the Janome Horizon, any comments on this or other machines.

I don't have the Horizon but have test drove it and drooled on it a bit. It's got a few "upgrades" from the 6600, most of which I don't recall - but I do recall it has the 11" harp which is what I was drooling over.

I have the 6600 and love it.

I also have the 6600 and love it. The Horizon is an awesome machine. Free arm, 11" throat, tons of embroidery stitches. Lots of nice upgrades.

I only have the 6500 which I love but tried out the Horizon and really want to get it. Have to find a job first but it is definitely on my want list!
