Sewing question but not on a quilt...Hole in skirt after wash...
I made two skirts and just washed them. One turned out fine but the one for me has some holes in them. Only one side and close to the seam area. What would you do to fix this?
I had thought of adding the flowers from the pleat fabric over the holes to add detail but should I do it to just the one side? I also thought of doing a zig zag type stitch down both sides so it would "close" up the holes but one hole is about a quarter size (it is the biggest).
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I think I must have knicked the fabric when I took out the first seam. I made it too big so I had to take it in some. That is the only explaination I can think of since the other seam is fine and the first skirt I made is fine.
I am adding a small strip to both side.

Ok, I added some strips to the sides, phew! Now I hope no more holes appear the next time I wash it.

I used a pattern from Sew Delicious, it is call The Peggy Skirt! Not hard to make once you get going. I made this one in an hour or so...now fixing it took longer. lol
