Icebloosom, please post pictures of your grandbaby too! When did the baby arrive? We all love babies and their birth announcements!

Susie and I have been on the same grandbaby countdown -- Leon Mateo came into the world on September 10, a week or so late and after 35 hours of trying he finally arrived via c-section. Here is me and Leon with my son in the background. Mom has said all along it was going to be one and only and the labor did nothing to change her mind.

Same back at you! Isn't it a wonderful thing to be a grandma? I've been semi-patiently waiting for years and years!
On other forums and memes and stuff there is one that goes "How do you know if someone is a (whatever it is)" and the answer is -- don't worry, they'll tell you! I'm a grandma. Wheeeee!!!

Beautiful baby boy, Iceblossom!! Sleeping babies always look so peaceful. Don't worry, I think most new moms say "never again!" right after delivery . In time she will forget how hard it was. Hopefully DIL is getting some rest and feeling better soon. Congratulations on being a new Grandma!!!

Congratulations Susie and Iceblossom ! Thank you both for sharing pictures of those beautiful babies! Our youngest grandson is almost 8 years old and the oldest just turned 24. Love them all dearly, of course, but I do miss those baby days. So sweet.
