Default Mom and daughter road trip

My brother and SIL live in a small community just outside of Gaithersburg MD and they are having a community festival.
My SIL asked us to come and have a booth at their craft show. They usually have about 8,000-10,000 people in one day. She thinks my quilts, tables runners, casserole covers and check book covers would sell like hot cakes. My daughter is so excited to go on a road trip - just the two of us - and leave her kids at home with their Dad. Not sure about driving 1,000 miles one way for a craft show but the road trip sounds great to me.

A few years ago my DD and I drove to LA to ship her car to Hawaii. That was the most wonderful trip for us and would do it again in a heartbeat. Have FUN!!!

Oh, boy, does that sound great! My DD and i took the bus to AZ a few years ago. HORRIBLE trip, but it was the bus, not the company!!! I would love to get my DD's to do something like that. A road trip sounds like a great time.

My DD and I took the train from Chicago to Harve,MT to visit my sisters and had a ball! Drove to Tulsa OK. last year so we could visit BIL. Maybe this year we can go in different direction lol. Enjoy your together time and the huge craft fair.

if you stop over night be sure to have your quilts covered from sight. if you have them inside the car, cover them and make it look trashy so no one will want to see what ever you have. good luck and have fun!!!
